My parents and my brother are also Raptors fans! I have a theme. Whenever I travel around the world, I wear Raptors jersey to promote my favourite team. People often ask me what is Raptors? And I tell them it is an NBA team in Canada. I promote Raptors at my work place, thru friends and anyone I know. Anyone who knows me will know I am Raptors fan. When they heard the score or think of Raptors, they think of me, me and Raptors go hand-in-hand. My nickname is MoVernie. My nickname is Vernie and my favourite Raptor player of all time is MoPete. Mo + Vernie = MoVernie. If you see me at the game or see me around the city or seeing me driving my MoVernie Mobile, remember to honk, say "Hi" or give me props! My slogan, "Always a Raptors fan, forever a Raptors fan" Whether we are winning or losing, I will support my beloved Raptors. When they are doing well, we support them, but when they are down, we have to even support them more. When you are down, you want people there to support and motivate and back you up. We go thru thick and thin together as a unit. Together, we are strong Raptors team forever! |

My favourite of all time was Mats of course. But there is something about basketball and moreover, the Raps. The leafs...no comment...the jays..disappointment. But looking into this season will be full of exciitment and surprise. The 2009-2010 will be remembered as the greatest Toronto Raptor season. I am 17 years old, Vietnamese and currently live in Hamilton Ontario. I have a lot of knowledge of the team that will always be burning inside me. The Raptors. I may be 17 but I've dedicated my time and knowledge into knowing the team that I will be repping on my chest when I head to each and every home game. |
