Born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia and Toronto, Ontario Mat MacDonald's been a sports fanatic his whole life. Raised on the game of basketball wasn't forced, it was the only thing he wanted. Playing as a kid and moving up in level until playing in university, he experienced it all. Now writing for St. Francis Xavier University's sports department and constantly talking Raptors/NBA basketball, Mat finds himself opening new doors.
