| Favourite Raptors Memory | When I went to my first Toronto Raptors NBA game. We were playing against the Houston Rockets in November. I didn't know there was a Santa Claus Parade, so roads are blocked. I missed the first quarter of the game. Imagine, it's your first game and you are all pumped up and excited? However, the game went to 2 overtime, it was Chris Bosh's rookie year. He shot his first 3-pter of his career and he tied the game and forced overtime. After 2 overtime, the Raptors won the game. I got my money's worth and the two overtime made up for the first quarter I missed. We saw Yao Ming & Steve Francis. First timer with a win is always an awesome experience. |

I am a true super crazy Raptors fan! As long as there is Raptors, I will stay in Toronto and will not work elsewhere. I bleed red and white. My parents and my brother are also Raptors fans!
I have a theme. Whenever I travel around the world, I wear Raptors jersey to promote my favourite team. People often ask me what is Raptors? And I tell them it is an NBA team in Canada. I promote Raptors at my work place, thru friends and anyone I know.
Anyone who knows me will know I am Raptors fan.
When they heard the score or think of Raptors, they think of me, me and Raptors go hand-in-hand.
My nickname is MoVernie.
My nickname is Vernie and my favourite Raptor player of all time is MoPete.
Mo + Vernie = MoVernie.

Whether we are winning or losing, I will support my beloved Raptors. When they are doing well, we support them, but when they are down, we have to even support them more. When you are down, you want people there to support and motivate and back you up.
We go thru thick and thin together as a unit. Together, we are strong Raptors team forever!

Hi Movernie! For Kiss 92.5 I do the ROZ & MOCHA morning show after a Raptor game. I do a quick post-game report for them. They got hold of my YouTube vid and that's how it happened. Saw u on Raptorspace on TV! Good stuff!

It was the 1st tweetup for Raptorspace...So it was kind of small - but we were the louder group there cause the Leafs lost that night.
RaptorsRepublic hosts their FanFridays - it happens more often and thats also a good time too..Bigger group cause its more established. With time though I think the RS/Twitup group will get bigger!
As for the interview, it was Gate 5 Live for an in game side-show...I really thought they were going to ask me about Roger Mason Jr., Matt Bonner was just too easy. ;)

I do actually follow all of the Aussies in the league too. Its pretty good as an Australian at the moment, because we have 4 of them - Bogut, Nathan Jawai, David Andersen and Patty Mills. I do own a Bogut Bucks Jersey, but at the end of the day, the Raptors are still the team I follow

Nah had never been to Canada before last year.
I became a Raptors fan because when they came into the league, I was a big NBA fan in general, but had no team. I didnt want to jump onto one of the bandwagons that everyone else was (Bulls, Lakers, MAgic, Hornets) so I figured I'd support one of the Canadian teams. When the Raptors drafted Stoudamire (who I liked from college ball) I decided it'd be the Raptors. Have stuck with them since!

hey dude, I am actually a Raptors fan from Australia. Been a fan since the franchise started, but only got to my first game this season (went to the first 2 at home). Loved it.
Living in Canada the next couple of years, so will probably get to a couple more
